Trying to chase a gaggle of honking geese that do not want to go where you would like is frustrating. They stop and keep looking over their shoulder to see if you are still following. I learned that a goose hen on her nest has something to protect and is a formidable pile of puffed feathers, flopping wings and a menacing arched neck all headed meanfully in your direction at once. Not a pretty sight, Mama Goose!
